Annoying laptop volume level thing

When i increase/decrease the volume, a little bar used to come up at the bottom right with the volume. However now it comes up in the middle, i think it might be cos i mucked around with resolution a while ago..

How do i get it back in the corner, its really annoying cos it comes up right in the middle of a page, e.g. youtube dieo.

Yep have tried clicking and dragging. Its not really ON my screen, its like in front of it (not part of my desktop, its just there..)

I get what ya mean, it's like an overlay, by the laptop and not the operating system. Not sure how you move it though.
