I have an interview with UEA next week and i was wondering if anyone else has already had there interview? Am really nervous as i have had no previous experience of the OSCE style interview.

I just want to know from those that have had their interview did they ask the DREADED question of "why do you want to become a doctor?" and did they ask about any current happenings in the medical field?

I know with the acceptable approach to the decision making i've been told there are no right or wrong answers.


SO please please please any suggestion on things i should read up on or tips on tackling each station will be highly welcomed :-)

I have an interview on the 29th and would love some pointers lol...but no one will as it give people an unfair advantage which is understandable tbh

It was pretty standard. Just know your personal statement and be ready for the usual set of questions. The letter you got actually provides you with quite a bit of information if you really study it and gives you an idea what they ask at each station. Just remember the opening question at each station is just that - an opening question. Many times I got asked follow up questions which were completely different to other applicants and often had nothing to do with the opening question. There's no real way anyone could help you with that situation. I'm not that nice that I'm going to tell you what was asked but there were no absolute "What the hell?" questions
