Should I go on a gap year with this course in mind?
Hey,
I'm looking at doing something along the lines of IBML at Strathclyde or something like Marketing with French or Business Studies with French.
Therefore, as to not lose my touch with the language, I see it as a necessity to go to France on a gap year. But then I thought, well could I just go straight from school to Uni (if I do IBML it's a 5 year course, so I'd graduate the same time as others who've done a 4ycourse and a gapyear.)
So what do you think? Should I take one or not?
(I'm doing Highers atm so still have one year left after the summer 09)

Go for the gap year!
Assuming you'd live/work/travel/do a course in France for a decent portion of the year it's completely worth it. You'll get so much experience that you'll be able to take to the uni course and you'll have an amazing time.
