Nursing 2009, Anyone else applying? where?

I'm applying for a Nursing course this year, got a couple uni's in mind, mainly ones around london, still waiting on my tutor for my reference though for my ucas! lol. Anyone else applying or studying Nursing? :biggrin:

Hey yeah I've applied to do childrens nursing at Greenwich (there are others too, but thats my fave). Exciting times!

Btw wasn't the ucas deadline the 15th jan?

If the application hasn't been sent off, then you can't go through UCAS extra.

I applied direct to ARU and not through UCAS.Like another member has already stated u can always go through UCAS extra when it starts in feb 2009 :biggrin:

Most universities don't let you apply through Extra for nusing courses anyway. If your application isn't in you wont be able to use clearning either. And normally there are very few nursing spaces left in clearing (LD and MH..sometimes a few adult places) but you wouldn't find Childrens nursing in clearing. I know because I tried last year through clearing. (I changed my mind about an engineering degree!!) Anyway I have the choice of De Montford and Oxford Brookes to do childrens nursing. I got offered places at both after interviews :biggrin:

I dont think they would be any vacanies for childrens nursing through that route as we know children nursing is so highely competitive and have such small numbers,you might find there is no vacanies on UCAS extra in Feb i am afraid :yep:
