A truly simple question.

On this forum, what does "OP" mean? I've gathered that it seems to refer back to the thread starter, but it seems to be an initialism and I'm wondering what it stands for. My life would make slightly more sense if someone could tell me. :yep:

Thank you! That makes sense, but it's not quite logical enough for me to have worked it our myself. As far as I can see, calling someone an "original poster" (of a thread) infers that others have subsequently re-posted that same thread and this person was the OP, like artists covering the songs of others, as opposed to a person posting the thread, then others posting IN it. But I do see. :smile:
