Human Resource Development (Msc)

I have an application at both Portsmouth and Southampton for the above course. I don't hold out a great deal of hope; with a 55% English BA (hons) degree from Oxford Brookes, I understand that my degree is barely worth the paper it's written on. I do, however, have a great deal of experience in HR from work placements at companies such as: Conde Nast, three central London PR/advertising firm, Feneo Ltd and a large national HR/Recruitment company.

I'm wondering:

- Considering I applied on Sunday evening and Portsmouth explains that they "aim to have an answer to you within ten days", does this indicate that I may not have been successful.
- What is the system here? The app' process requires me to send a copy of my certificates. Will a degree certificate suffice, or will I eventually have to send a transcript?

Does anyone have any experience of the Postgrad' application proces at Portsmouth? If so, I'd be grateful for your insight into the likely outcome of my application!
