Compared to Gordon Brown; Who - and i didn't know this - went to university when he was 15!:
Surprisingly George Bush:
Anyone else?
Did George bush pay for his degrees' ??? If not he is clearly the most qualified, Harvard and Yale Wow!
So would you presume, OP, that going to Cambridge as opposed to say Queen Mary makes you more qualified to be a world leader?
Where did i even suggest that is the case?
I would say that a degree in politics, Economics, History or similar degrees or joint ones from those, would mean one is more qualified to run a country... However it is obviously possible to run a country on a couple of U's in your GCSE and nothing else because intelligence and good ideas don't come from studying alone... The point of the thread was me being curious...

lol, just having the degree obviously doesn't make him superior and amazing... the idiot just about knows which his left and right hands are!
Presumably at Harvard and Yale where standards are high, would you say he would have achieved better grades at say Bristol?
Standards at undergraduate-level in the United States (even within the 'Ivy League') really aren't that high. Broad, yes; but, by the yardstick of British red-bricks, not especially high.

George Bush is an exceptionally intelligent man who was poorly advised, badly breifed and politically complacent. He is probably far more intelligent than you or I, and the stirred up belief that he's an idiot (see misunderestimated) is a shallow-minded, left-wing media ploy to undermine him.
Yes he mispronounced some words, but guess what, so did Barak Obama by accident, we all mispronounce words from time to time we are human, Bush didn't go out of his way to be a pretentious, plastic robot like Clinton or even Reagan.
I bet, I just bet, GW Bush has a bit more knowledge and understanding of the world he has been shaping for the bast 8 years, than say me or you.

I'm pretty sure Bush only got into Harvard and Yale because of who his father was

his rumoured exceptional intelligence never quite manifested itself through no fault of his own then.
