Seriousely who wrote this mark scheme, the question is to find the speed, so i just stuck the numbers into v^2 = w^2(a^2-x^2) and the mark scheme doesnt give credit for that, it says to differentiate the x = acoswt to get velocity.. what a ****** =/

Honestly, who would do that

Same

This paper is ridiculous, January 2005, the last question uses like conservation of linear momentum in it as well

I take it that M2 would be a breeze for you if you've also done M3?

Hmm i have to say M2 is looking a lot easier now that weve covered M3, the only things i can see messing me up would be either a ridiculous conservation of momentum question, or a really bad statics question

M3 is ridiculous though, i could easily get ruined on any of the questions, each topic can have a ridiculous question on it

Thats not saying M2 is easy of course, its kind of like doing M1 after doing c3 and c4 like we did last year, it becomes easier with more knowledge

Very true. The only thing that could screw me over now would be a very hard statics question, though I haven't seen many of them recently.
