    OP
Don't risk it, you could get chucked out for downloading (if you can even torrent through the Hornet). Instead, go to an internet cafe, or get internet for free from McDonald's or similar and do illegal stuff there.

Oh no, are you telling me that the risk is real? I can't imagine an entire years without downloading something I want to.
What is the accomodation where the controls are fewer? I mean... probably controls are global because I think that network is the same for everybody but is there someone who usually download here?

There really isn't anywhere where controls are 'fewer' as it's all the same network. I know people who torrent and haven't been caught, but it's silly to jeopardize your whole university education for simple sakes for a song or film. It's not that bad really, just invest in a netflix offer or spotify or something

8 pints, hour limit. Epic vomit photos. The record is under 3 minutes, I managed in about 25

No, it's ok, I've already decided for Manchester, I just want to be prepared because... you know, the little pleasures make life better and for me free downloads are pleasures
Anyway I'll find a way to download... I hope

There were zombies?? Think that would be too much, seeing as I get scared by ducks. Are you on the corner right near moseley gate?

    Attachment 145737

No ducks to be seen today, thank the gods.
    (Original post by ellakrystina)
Yeah, that's me. I have the fairy lights and little bunting flags in my window. And until last night I didn't realise the gate had a name... it's just the sainsbury's-swipey gate, surely? So you're behind Squirrels then? I never realised the building was so big.

At first there was a zombie riding about on a bike terrorising students and then the rest came (with one human filming). It was very odd. I hope we have a University of Lincoln-esque zombie advertisement (youtube it if you don't know what I'm on about).
They were filming this for the freshers playhttp://player.vimeo.com/video/41809245

No idea, but I thought I'd just casually plug the play and drama

I got back from work at 4am last night. There was a duck outside OP reception attacking a piece of bread. Do ducks ever sleep?

I'm trying to work out how to turn this into a 'in soviet Russia' thing.
In soviet Russia, duck watches you... which is just terrifying.

    :lolwut:

Domestic ducks put themselves to bed (i.e. in the coop) once it reaches dusk . . . these are freaky, supernatural, GM ducks :ninja:
