Looks great, think I may be settling for Oak House then, is it in quite high demand?
not at all. it's huuuuuuuuge. there are about 1,000 people in oak house, I think. if you put oak house down as your first choice, it's pretty much guaranteed.

    what does "catered" stands for?
    what about "self-catered" ?
    (probably silly question...)

Self catered halls have no food provided, catered halls tend to provide breakfast and an evening meal

I'm in Grosvenor Street Building, really quick to get into uni, but pretty quiet if I'm honest

It would be a close call between here again, or Whitworth Park. I like being on the uni campus, because it means I can get up that little bit later in the mornings, and I don't need to get buses everywhere. It isn't that bad here, its really easy to work with it being on the quiet side, yet there is always something happening somewhere, just you need to actively find it

What are your arguments of not going to Oak House?

I'm too lazy to live in Fallowfield, I like being able to be in lectures 5mins after leaving my room. Plus I think with the workload of my course I'd struggle to work if I was somewhere as lively as Oak House, given that I tend to work mainly in my room, rather than the library

Ah, how far away is Fallowfield from MU? :|

    (Sorry about all the questions.)

About a mile, maybe slightly more. A short bus ride is the best way of putting it, should take around 10mins

No, its more than that. I once tried walking the distance and it took about 25 minutes at a fairly fast tempo.
Bus ride depends on traffic but generally around 10-15 minutes.

In Owens Park Green Court it means that male and female floors alternate.

I think most halls do that, with single sex floors. it's something about the uni not being able to house girls on the ground floor. oak house has single sex floors, but within mixed flats.
