Presumably suggesting that you have presented facts without going far enough in comparisons, explanations/ reasons for events, opinions, possible solutions to particular problems, etc.

You probably need to try to discuss the reasons for a situation, and set out some possible solutions or future developments. Your teacher is looking to assess your ability to control, assess, evaluate the material you have used.

Don't be afraid to ask for explanations and guidance from your teacher. Some of them are human beings... Choose a good moment... Teachers are more impressed if you see them in your free time to seek guidance, rather than in the middle of a lesson...
