Assuming you mean for 2010 entry?
There are no particular SAT IIs that you have to do for engineering. However, I do suggest though that you do SAT IIs related to your A Levels, and if you want to do engineering I'm guessing this would include maths and physics. I would therefore suggest the Physics SAT II and the Maths Level 2 SAT II, along with the SAT Reasoning Test. Visit www.collegeboard.com for more.

As for whether you actually need to do SAT IIs, it depends entirely on the university you want to apply to, so I would check out their individual requirements on their websites. Yale for example will allow completed A Levels instead of SAT IIs.

Again, whether you can pass certain courses due to your A Level grades will vary from uni to uni, so check each of them out.

Most of the top engineering schools, including those within universities like Duke Pratt and Columbia Fu, require math (usually Math II) and at least one science (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology E/M).

Depends on how well on A-levels you do. You may be able to place out of introductory chemistry, calculus, and/or introductory physics.

High test scores alone will not get you into any top school (except maybe Caltech), but yes, generally your chances of admission increase with increased test scores.
