Can someone please tell me how to....

activate my University username?

I've been given a temporary username and I've gone through the online registration ie the pages that asked for contact numbers, addresses etc. I think I am still in the temporary intranet portal because the only page says "Next Steps", and to get a username I need to access the "Univeristy Username" channel which I cannot find. How do I go about doing this?

I think I'm missing a vital piece of information here... :confused:

Go to the library or a computer room and at the logon screen there will be a button at the bottom right of the screen that says "user registration" - that should be what you're looking for.

If that doesn't work or you've already tried it then you can ask the staff in Cripps Computing Centre or the staff at the IS desk in the library (In Hallward this is on the basement floor near the photocopiers)
