Children's programmes actually teach me something every time I watch them.

-What are the positive effects of childrens television for 8-14yr olds?

It keeps them out of trouble and stops them going out and taking drugs/killing old ladies in their beds.

-Are there any storylines or situations from your childhood tv you remember?

Once, this tractor broke down and these sheep had to fix it so the farmer wouldn't be mad. That episode I learnt sheep aren't as dumb as we humans like to think. Do you know how to fix a broken tractor?

Today, it's all about teaching children the meaning of words like "iggle piggle" whatever the hell that means, in my day it was more about how to make pasta pictures on "Art Attack!". Aah the good times!
