do you know much about it? Well all the accomodation on campus is catered, and are great for socialising, but a lot of people have told me the food isnt too good. There is also Broadgate Park just ourside of the campus which is self-catered and holds 2000 people, and these halls are a mix of en-suite and single study.

this link is a map of the uni and accomodation and will help you out a lot.

iv been thinking out this too.
What is it like living in halls..as a few of my friends live in flats and it seems like alot of fun compared to halls...
Also what are the genreally the best places halls or flats to live in?
Thanks
My impression of halls from knowing a few mates there is that they are very good places for socialising and you will get to meet a lot of people.I've been inside Rutland and Lincoln even though I live at Raleigh Park and both halls are quite nice , Lincoln is divided into a number of "houses" with about ten rooms in each.Rutland is pretty much one big building divided into blocks with an inner courtyard , it's a very nice place.

However , I've heard quite a few anecdotes about people doing some quite stupid things like playing with fire alarms in there and being a bit loud and inconsiderate with parties , things go on all the time.Quite glad I didn't get in to halls when I'd applied , not terribly keen on that sort of atmosphere to be honest. If you really like socialising then I'd probably recommend it as you meet loads of new people.

Search through the forum for the info you need, the answers are already there.
If you want the extra privacy, then get a shared bathroom or ensuite. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.
