Hi, i play the 'cello amongst other things and am just wondering about the music stuff at Exeter?
I know there isn't a music degree but, from the website, there seems to be lots of ensembles.

Is the music any good though? I've heard mixed reviews...

There are loads of musical opportunities & groups like symphony orchestra are very popular. I don't play anything myself, but have lots of friends that do & been to the concerts, which are incredible. There's also an orchestra week (http://extunes.exeter.ac.uk/symphony...rchestra_week), before term starts in September for musicians to get together. There are also opportunities to play for the plays and musicals put on throughout the year by the theatre groups.
