Civil War Homework Help!

"Religion was the most important factor in bringing about civil war in England in 1642"

Got quite a few points, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas?

First is this a source question or a 'to what extent' question?

If it's a 'to what extent' question, which is what I think.. you set it out like the following:
Introduction - What's in the title, what isn't in the title
1st para - Religion
2nd para - Social
3rd para - Economic
4th para - Political

Religion = say what religions there were, say about the Kings evil advisors, the Laudian reforms, presbytarianism, wentworths policy of thorough
HOWEVER, OTHER FACTORS COULD BE SEEN AS MORE IMPORTANT..

Social - kings personality etc

Economic - types, fuedal dues etc, taxations

Political - short parliament, long parliament, pym, subsidies.

Therefore, in my opinion the most important was religion, however...
