ECA first year studies! information???

okay so i have applied to ECA to do first eyar studies but i couldt attent the open day. i have been looking EVERYWHERE to try and find some feedback from ECAstudent.

its seeming quite impossible. is edinburgh a good place to study? hows the course? the life and all that.:confused:

any honest info would be appreeciated.:biggrin:

Try the Edinburgh Uni's forum here on Tsr. I'm sure there will someone lurking who can help.

I'm not at ECA but I can say that Edinburgh as a city is a fantastic place to be a student. Good luck.

hello, iv got a cousin at eca and im applying myself for first year, and personally i think its fab! i visited glascow as well and as far as work goes there on a par, but the studio space in edinburgh is lovely, depending on what discipline you plan to study in year 2 the kind of work differs, drawing and painting is very traditional, but of good quality- though the exhibition i visited didnt thrill me fantastically. interdisciplinary (formerly tapestry) however is doin some really interesting stuff! have you had a reply from eca yet? im getting a bit worried they forgot me :frown:

havent checked this in ages! oops. yeah i got an offer :biggrin: just booked my accom thats soooo expensive :s but oh well. thanx for the info im really exited to move up there have you sprted everthing?
