Question Mitigating circumstances and final degree classification

Does anybody know if it is possible for your 2nd and 3rd year individual module marks that are in the borderline category (e.g. 68-69%) to be moved up when it comes to your final degree classification if you can submit mitigating circumstances that are to be considered in conjunction with your overall degree mark?

The problem is that I've had a terrible couple of months with all sorts of personal circumstances that have affected my ability to study clearly. On top of that I've only just been diagnosed with dyslexia and so have not had any of the usual extensions and benefits that are offered to other dyslexic students in examinations during my university education. Without mitigating circumstances I will certainly struggle to get the extra 5% I need to go up a grade boundary.

Does anyone know if this will be possible or have any advice on how to go about it?

Thanks.

The best thing to do is talk to someone at your uni.

Is there somebody that you can email?
Perhaps start by discussing the issue with your course leader?

I've spoken to my personal tutor and dyslexia support officer and it seems that I have to be on a grade boundary to be considered for promotion to a higher degree classification. The problem is that I'm currently 5% below the grade boundary. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with this and if they were successful in achieving a higher grade?
