find the coordiantes of the points where the curve meets the x axis.
x=t^2
y=(1-t)(t+3)
My thoughts
Meets X axis where y =0
rearrange equation one, so that t=rootx?
anyone point me in the right direction please

If y=0, you can solve your second equation to get the values of t, and sub into the first.
Cant believe I couldn't see that, thanks
