yes. the majority of people in my year were given offers of AABb (not sure about IB) and some were given offers below the minimum requirments probably because of an impressive interview performance. So you are more likely to get an offer equal to or below the minimum entry requirments that you are of getting one above that.

if you would rather go to manchester then dont bother coming to get an offer that you are going to decline and is going to jeoperdise your chances of getting in in the first place.
