Wouldn't it cause hyper-inflation?

It would make the recession dissappear.

We should print tons and tons of moeny and give it too the poorer countries. World poverty is over.

If only...Interest is just rediculously low now!

That would just increase inflation - which I hear isn't a good thing :P.
It would basically mean that the value of the pound will go down, and inflation will increase.

Inflation, basically everything will get more expensive because money is worth less then it used to be

Also will have a negative effect on exchange rates

Its perfect. Printing money is actually the solution out of the recession for this country. As long as inflation doesn't reach extensive levels which will make investors lose confidence in the British market its a sure thing.

Everything will increase in value but the confidence boost it can give will be incredible. It will also fix the UK's trade deficit as UK based companies export more due to the greater possible profits over sea's. This means there will be an injection of cash into the UK economy, which can offset the negative effects of the inflation caused.

I've always wondered what a £100 note would look like.
Yeah the value of the pound will go down and it would cost money to print it anyway! And the balance of money in the world isn't going to change its always the same just not moving very well?
