I have the scorch shot and new scout pistol if anyone wants it. I'm a bit disappointed with all the new weapons really. I like the updates they made to the existing weapons, pyro flamethrowers all got a 10% boost etc.

They seem to bring updates to every character except the demoman/heavy

Weird - I'd say the Demoman was the most overpowered class while the Heavy just doesn't seem heavy enough...

    Heavy is overpowered....

But the pyro goggles were fun for a short while, after that it starts messing with your focus completely.

Maybe things have changed in a the months I haven't been paying it consistently but from my experience, the heavy was decent but not the killing machine it should be. Meh

Heavy has always being overpowered its just most people dont know how to play as him very well.. and just stand in front of everyone shooting at long range, not dealing any damage then getting shot in the face x3

    Bump?

Surely TSR isn't completely empty of those who understand the importance of hats?

Nope just started to be more active of TSR and we need to promote the importance of hats in modern society or something, or just market Gardener people that is cool too

Agreed. Spacebar + M2 + M1 round a corner as a Heavy and EVERYTHING DIES.

I play scout a lot and I never really get bothered by heavies, they're fairly easy to avoid. Most heavies are awful though tbh.

Obviously my pet hate is mini sentries and incompetent soldiers and demomen who don't even try to kill them >:|

Heavy is supposed to be scout's counter, but I find that a good scout can often rip a heavy to shreds in the open. On the other hand, I find the classes that are supposed to counter heavies ridiculously easy to deal with. I kill spies by the dozen as a heavy, and most snipers don't have a clue how to deal with crouching at irregular intervals.

Mini sentries are the worst thing on the internet.

Mini-Sentries are the spawn of Beelzebub. As soon as you take it out the engie poops out another one. In an ideal world it would have been balanced to make it less spammable already...sigh.

So how many hours have you guys sunk into TF2? I recently passed 1400 hours...time to get off the pc and go outside perhaps?

A mere 783 hours. I'm told the outdoors is nice. I should visit sometime.

I'm that guy who likes the Mini-Sentries To be honest its a nice break from the turtle engie that I usually play and lets me use my shotgun and have some fun, doesn't rack up too many points but annoys people

However I hate being against them, the area denial just antagonises me so much.

Only 59 hours so far, still getting to grips with it but starting to finish top 3 on my team fairly consistently. Not found many servers worth adding as favourite yet, I've played various UKCS servers which seem quite good. Any recommendations for servers are welcome

Played a bit of pyro today, seemed to be a success. The scorch shot is pretty effective at bumping enemies off objectives and harassing snipers, still need a lot of practice at airblasting though.

edit: Steam id is aKeckers feel free to add but add a note that you're from TSR please ^^

The only advice I have in terms of servers is stay the hell away from Saigns / NightTeam - their servers are always full of bots and premium members (who have so many ridiculous bonuses it boggles the mind). Skial can be annoying too on attack / defend maps as they give a ridiculously long respawn time to the defending team, so Red's always at a major disadvantage.

Many attempt to tarnish the greatness that is my Towering Pillar of Hats, but all of said attempts have been futile.
