Re: The Team Fortress 2 Thread
Lol, depends how they play pyro, you could just run about flaming incessantly, but if you've got some skill, there's the airblast and that shotgun, which I've seen used to great effect.
Also, damn do I hate snipers
@Joly: I would assume you're speaking of a turbo server, I went on one once, and left about 5 minutes later, it was just.... buggy, which was odd. -
Re: The Team Fortress 2 Thread
i do have quite a large amount of play time as pyro (~70 hours) and find that i can be a pyro to great effect, but i much prefer taking things out from miles away as a demo, especially on cp and pl maps.
What's everyone's favourite map by the way?
Steering clear of Dustbowl and Goldrush my personal favourite is Turbine. -
Re: The Team Fortress 2 Thread
Hehe, a good demo or spy is incredibly annoying, especially when I play heavy... I was doing so well (top of the server, clearing out their entire team back to the spawn from the final point) 3 of their team turned spy and only hunted me down, and not even my medic, just me... :P

Re: The Team Fortress 2 Thread

Believe it or not, the server lagged at this exact moment: as I was initially falling and attempting to back stab the heavy at the same time - I succeeded; this was rather spectacular, as I managed to get a screen shot.
Note: The Heavy is Cakes on a Plane, and yes, before hand I was owning

Re: The Team Fortress 2 ThreadTactics-wise, you need to think for the team rather than yourself, this usually not only gives you more individual points, but usually gets your team working together better.(Original post by aoaaron)
Can someoen teach me how to be good at this game? I just see to fail... a lot. I dont get any of the tactics tbh.
As with any game, you are best off learning from your mistakes; try and think of other ways of gettin past certain obstacles.
Sentries can be taken out by any class, depending on what level it's at, and how far away you can stand from it. Certain maps favour certain classes more - notably as far as snipers and spies are concerned.
