Oxbridge offers of 4 As (Medicine)

A friend of mine at school got an AAAAb offer from Jesus College, Cambridge - for Medicine too, so it can actually happen.

My friend got an offer for NatSci at Cam for AAAA plus 90% in the 3 most relevant subjects, so I imagine that could be a possibility for Medicine too. My offer for med was AAA despite doing 4 A2s though.


Ouch! NatSci sounds ridiculously competitive. :s-smilie:
It seems more likely that you'll get that kind of offer from Cambridge based on the replies, and just because they roll like that. Having said that, there'll always be a chance of getting that kind of offer if you take 4. But, that shouldn't defer you from doing so because I'd like to think it'd make you more likely to get an offer in the first place.
