Miscellaneous shizzle: Really looking forward to going. Thought the campus was lovely when I visited the other day - although that was when the lake was mostly frozen (with ducks waddling around on top), there was snow on the ground and the winter sun lighting it all just so.

Favoured college/accommodation: I have no idea. From the little I've read, Alcuin and James sound quite good, but I know too little about the others to make any kind of decision yet.

Miscellaneous: The LFA programme looks good. I'll definitely be applying to start re-learning French alongside my course. I have a visit day tomorrow, so I miss the last day of this half-term at my sixth-form! haha. It's for a good cause. I didn't even expect to get an offer.

Miscellaneous shizzle: ok so its not actually firmed yet because my sheffield one hasnt come through on track, but it may as well be. I'm annoyed with all the threads going york is for ugly people york is for dorks etc etc, and as much as it puts me off, I just think to how much i loved it both times I visited... I didn't want to go home!

Courseconomics and Finance
Conditions of Entry: 9.5 overall and two state examinations with 80%; plus IELTS 6.5 including 6.0 in all units
Favoured college: not sure... haven't got enough information.
Misc. I'm just a bit confused about the offer. Are the state examinations included in the overall BA grade? Cause if yes, I've got a looooot of studying to do (I'm taking 4 and I'm not so good at Lithuanian and History so I'm not sure whether I'll be able to get more than 75% to have the required average.. the examination system in Lithuania is a bit weird and it's extremely hard to get a decent grade.. ). And I'm a bit afraid that my English is not good enough.. And that I won't make friends... And all of my friends will be miles away from me... And my family, too.. I'm a bit scared...

Is it possible to send off your college preferences if you've only been made a conditional and not an unconditional?
