possibly, but i have a more accurate view of the city seeing as ive lived in it for 18 years and so know thats its not boring. tbh i just think people have just jumped on the warwick bandwagon without thinking properly. there must be loads of boring unis.... places like keele, lincoln etc.

Nahh it's not - you'd be surprised at the student night life & social side for Chi and I'm not just talking on campus (either Chi or Bognor). You wouldn't choose it if you want night after night 4am finishes BUT it's far more lively than you think.

Holloway's pretty quiet but I like the slightly quieter slow pace most of the time, wherever I am.

All depends on the student in question though - not everyone goes to uni for the social and night life, funnily enough.

Depends on the individual to be honest - I know some people who love the feeling of being in a tight-knit community and have great fun having all their own little student parties, etc. For me, it's all about the city, and anywhere not in a city would be boring! For me, Oxbridge, Durham, Exeter, St. Andrews, Warwick, etc. seem quite boring - but to others they'd be amazing. Each to their own.


(And before anyone points it out, yes I know, I applied to Cambridge and St. Andrews....)

I don't see why Warwick would be any more boring than any other campus uni - infact I'd imagine it's more interesting than most - it has a great arts centre with a cinema and theatre, a massive sports centre, and next year they'll have built probably the best student union building in the country. And I don't see what's specifically so terrible about Coventry, it doesn't have a lot of impressive landmarks or buildings but it's not a bad place to live.
