Yeah, I agree with Captain biggles and Student. I don't really see the point in "social threads" because we have the off the topic thread anyway.

Student - trialing it with Noémie, if it seems OK, I'm allow all the SC P5 to take it. I'll have to brief her on voting procedure sometime...it's all written down somewhere though.

Social threads - Well, LibDem subforum just has a "Name your current playlist" thing, and I wondered if if we had some more laid-back activities in the MUN, more people would feel relaxed here and be willing to stick around. But if there's no interest...

Uke - you may as well run, get a bit of interesting debate in here

Meet - mostly interested? Or not?

The reason I put that up in the libdem sub forum was to help increase activity. Mrgd, don't take this as me having a go, I know I said you could imploment some things from the sub forum here if you wanted (BTW, thanks for asking ) But remmemmber it is a private forum, please don't bring things from the private forum into a non-public one.

My apolgies Dayne, I would never post anything important but it seemed a fairly unconsequential thing to talk about

It is, but policy is allways that things inside the private forums stay within the private forums. But I realise you didn't know this, and understand

Fair enough. I thank you for the understanding. Though I would ask of any reps that are concerned with any of my actions to PM me in future

Strange thing is, I've not really started. I wanted to get the Hyp/Hist done before I asked the mods to start on our impressions..

The only reason I can ascribe is the activity we've made has put us on the Recent Threads more often!

Right, I would like to put out a call to all seasoned members of the MUN.

Chances are you've represented more than one country. Some of these countries are now vacant and some are pretty damn key! I would like people to write a brief synopsis of the reasons to chose a country.

For example. Had LawBore not joined, Germany would now be empty. I would give a brief description about the time I had as Germany and encourage others to take up the job.

Can you do this for me?

Boring. I've had Afghanistan and now the US, which is more fun than I thought it would be! I wanted the UK seat at first...

You basically want us to write what is essentially an advertisement for countries we have represented to get the roles filled?

    I'd be up for that.

Pretty Much and Sweet. So Afghanistan's always good to have an advert for, though we have a rep...

Balls. Ack well, I'll just take a random country that doesn't say much so I can add 'XYZ country thinks what the US says is bang on'.

How is this EU rep that we're advertising going to work? Is he/she going to work in conjunction with France/Germany/UK?
