It's old news for you US types. Not so much for UK-ers, I imagine.

Gah, I heard this on Radio one newsbeat he was being interviewed and was trying to chat up some woman, it was so cringeworthy, his voice didn't sound confident ...... then he started talking about star wars.

Yeh that's going to impress them

Funny thing is, playground tactics would probably work out pretty well with a few relationships I've had.

its stupid because its taking the innocence out of childhood. they shouldnt even be interested in girls anyway and should be able to think they can just be friends with girls without people thinking they fancy them..like it doesn when your an adult

It'd be a refreshing change.
I have to say...his lines would totally work on me!
Haha, well maybe not. But not a bad start, considering his age.
People are probably just buying his book for comic value.

Deary me..
I'd probably buy it as one of those tongue in cheek books that you read just for something fun and light hearted...I like buying books like that. It's no different to those boys/girls yearbooks that everyone seems to buy at Christmas or other silly books like that. I think that is why the book has done well, because it is seen as another in a long line of popular humorous books on how to live life.
I wonder if the 13 year old dad tried a few of those gems out
Yeah, pathetic. Don't know why the BBC wasted their time with this tripe. If I was the journo who wrote that piece I'd feel ashamed of myself. I'd go home, run a bath, and scrub myself with bleach until my skin was raw
I can imagine a conversation starter now...

"wanna play with my stretch-armstrong?"
