I don't know if this will be useful, but a while ago, I had the same issue of Firefox not being able to run the Livetext Solution Bank. However, I found a way around it and made Firefox able to run the Solution Bank. Annoyingly, however, I've forgotten how to make it like that. I believe I need to unblock an active content filter of some sort to make the Solution Bank work. Can anyone help me to figure out this mess?

None of the above worked for me, but I got it to work in case this helps anybody else. Use IE as the browser to open the solution bank - mine was opening with a blank page. In this case, set browser mode to compatibility view and document mode to quirks. The page will auto-refresh and the solution bank should appear.

hey... i still cant get my solution bank to open it opens onto the first page where u select the exercise but after that loads and a blank page comes up .. any ideas of how t fix this would be great thanks ... its m1 so really need it :P xx
i think its probably late...but there's a solutions for that!

insteas of actually selecting an excericse or question number from the list and clicking on it, just change the name in the url!

    for example...This is for C2:

    D:\content\sb\content\c2\c2_2_h_ 9.html
how i want question 8, not 9 ....so i change the number in the url link (at the END)so tht it becomes :
    D:\content\sb\content\c2\c2_2_h_ 8.html

hope that was clear enough! n hope it helped!
i already had my M1 exam though, this week! failed i think
    ppl pray for me *yn*

    Hi,

I've tried to solve the problem i had with the solution bank for months and theres a really simple way to solve it. If your running a newer version of IE, ie, IE 9 or whatever simply hit F12 and then when that comes up click 'Browser Mode' and select Internet Explorer 7. Then it should just reload your page automatically and work. If not just refresh it and try it again.

If F12 doesnt work you havent got it selected as a shortcut yet so just go to 'Tools' the 'F12 Developer Tools' or something worded along thouse lines and do the same thing as above.

Hope this helps some of you out
This worked for me, thanks a lot!

There was a website called sci2.co.uk that allowed you to access the solution banks ONLINE but the creator shut it down earlier this month

i found it hard to find out how to turn this on and off and this worked: (http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=...pressions=true)
To disable compatibility view in Internet Explorer 9, complete the following steps:
    1. Open Internet Explorer 9.
    2. Click Tools and you will see an option called Compatibility View.
    3. If there is a checkmark next to Compatibility View, click it to remove the checkmark. If there is no checkmark, move to step four.
    4. Open the Tools menu again. Select Compatibility View Settings.
    5. Make sure that "Display all websites in compatibility view" is unchecked, then click Close.
    6. Reopen Tools, click F12 Developer Tools. This will open a bar across the bottom of your browser page.
    7. In the top of that bar, click Browser Mode.
    8. Select Internet Explorer 9 from the drop-down.
    9. Press F12 on your keyboard to close the developer tools bar.
    10. Close and reopen your browser. Return to your Yahoo! website.

This is probably far too late, but I've just discovered if you open the file like above, then go to content, then sb, then content again, and on the first file with an obscure name like fb_87 or whatever, right click it and do open with internet explorer and it brings you to the first page of solution bank.
Took me about half an hour to find a way around resetting my internet options!! Hope this helps someone!
Excuse me but i cant find this fb_ file thing you are talking about o.O
