What uni halls at RGU are the best? Would it be better to go into mixed or single sexed halls?
Starting RGU in September and wondering if anyone knows?

Re: Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen
Hey, I'm thinking of studying Mental Health Nursing at Robert Gordon University but I wanna be 100% sure that its the right choice. I've looked at the university and it seems fine but I would like someones opinion and if you study the course yourself, then what do you think of it. Thanks

I'm sorry, I'm not from the UK so my results won't tell you anything...
What do you think of the uni? I think the media course sounds great, but Aberdeen seems to be sooo expensive. That's a huge drawback for me. -

Saw an email from rgu and started to get excited.... Then found out it's about "scotifying" yourself.. >

I went to their open day, honestly, even though the uni itself is a bit out of the way of the city center I think it's amazing! Very modern and it's apparently the best modern univeristy in the UK so that's a plus
I agree, Aberdeen is expensive but the positive is that there are LOTS of jobs going for students at the moment!
It's the deadline now so offers should be coming out soon! Hope you get in x -

Re:Robert Gordon University, AberdeenWell apparently it's to see what it'd be like in Scotland, you take a picture of yourself then choose backgrounds and things like that!!(Original post by addisonxxx)

Re: Robert Gordon University, AberdeenI'm from Germany. I visited the uni last year and I really liked the building and the sports centre being right next to it is also a plus(Original post by addisonxxx)

I personally think that RGU offers the best media course in Scotland... it's just the location that bothers me a bit. (I went to Aberdeen for only a few hours, so I haven't seen much of the city itself)
Thank you
I hope you get in too!

I can't wait any longer... I'm waiting for a reply since October! I just hope I will get an offer!
What kind of offer did you get? conditional or unconditional? -
Re: Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen
Hey guys! im from cyprus and applied to physiotherapy for sept. '13 at the rgu so anyone else ? They invited me to an interview in march so im sooo excited
but as i come from a really hot, dry and sunny island, i wonder if i could adapt to the cold and rainy and cloudy dark aberdeen days... What do you think? Also i found out that rgu offers much more placements during the course compared with any other uni. Do you think that it is an essential part or not?
