Question Mobile Insurance for student, second hand phone

Well, basically I am buying a phone from ebay, which is brand new, but is an unwanted upgrade from the seller. I would like to insure the phone because I am prone to clumsiness.

I am a student (age 17), and attend sixth form, what are my options in regards to this issue? My mum says that she doesn't think our home insurance includes mobiles, so that is out.

Helpppp

Why don't you phone your home insurance company and ask? You'd be surprised what they cover - they cover my phone, plus my laptop, which is fantastic, as they both come under accidental damage policies too

I think I will give them a call

First off, I am going to buy the phone, before it is sold to some other bugger!

Good idea

I forgot to add, that if your policy doesn't cover it at the moment, it shouldn't cost too much to add it to your house insurance. It's a damn sight cheaper, and a lot more reliable than buying insurance off one of the phone companies! There are so many problems with the phone companies and their insurance, you wouldn't believe
