All right guys need some help here....., I have received offers from sheffield, liverpool, birmingham and nottingham. - Biochemistry.
Manchester- Biomedical science

I'm intending to study medicine after my first degree and would like my first degree to be a good stepping stone for my graduate medical entry. Among these 5 offers, which one should i choose and why?

I'd choose Nottingham for Biochemistry. Lots of people apply as a post-grad to medical school with BScs in Medical Science, having something slightly different might be an advantage.

Nottingham is very good for biochem and prob has the best reputation amongst those 4. If you're applying for medicine afterwards I'd concentrate hard on getting a 1st as GEP is much more competitive than entering medicine as a school-leaver.

Just to reitterate TOYLs sage advice! Biochem all the way! AS to which school, well no one can tell you that, but professionally, Brums course is highly rated as is Notts. However, a little bird told me Sheffield likes it's own graduates for medicine... Not sure how true this is - try PMing Anita, she's a 5th Year at Sheff.
