York is my firm for psychology. I can't wait and absolutely love the placce to pieces. I ahev an offer of AAB and was wondering if any psychology students at York who did not meet the conditions of their offer still got in? If i get ABB do you think they would still accept me?

Hey, I applied to York too, no offer yet though. How long have you had an offer for?
I think if you got lower than AAB they would probably not let you in without some serious excuse making :\ I read somewhere that less than 7% of applicants get an offer, so its not like they dont have the option to take people who got the higher grades.
I find it very worrying myself but I guess the best thing we can do is get to work!

I think they're less inclined to be lenient this year; lots more applicants due to recession and Psychology is a v. competitive course.
Moral of the story?

Make sure you meet the conditions of your offer!

ive had my offer since october now..but working it all out it looks very possibel to get the grades thanks god in summer..i dont think i need higher than a B in any modules to get the gradea (thas if jan reults go ok)

It will probably vary from year to year, depending on how many others make their offer and how much you miss the offer by. I never met anyone that I know of who didn't get their offer
