so, come on then , who's started , when you planning to start and any tips for anyone.
I planned to start after this half term , but due to my history teacher it may be another two weeks lol.
personally have never revised before so i am guessing this will be a trial and error kind of thing lol. Got some cool resources together like quizlet, some nice flash cards from amazon.
I can only get a revision guide for my sociology not one for german or the reformation and failure of absolutism in history.
good luck all !!!

I didnt revise for my GCSEs until a day before each exam and i must say i've never revised so much before my AS's in my life!!
Ive made some general notes for psychology. Thats about it.
For English, we've sitll not studies all the poems, and we still have another book to read through so we havent been able to do anything really!
And law.. dont ask awful.

Have a look at whsmith they have a lot of revision guides. I went waterstones (because i love it there) but whsmith have more revision guides etc.
For my revision im going to start off by writing practice essays into note form on a4 paper, transferring it into mindmaps or tables on a3 paper. And then writing it onto revision cards.
And then i might add some post it notes here and there about how to structure the essay, or for law, i would write the details of the case on the post it note.
But i havent got that far yet, i hope i manage it though

And then after that, just to re-iterate the notes etc i shall write them out in continuos prose ! HOPEFULLY! i always plan to do all this and i never do

Good luck!!!!

I don't revise. I never have revised. I never will revise. It just isn't helpful. You should just pay attention in lessons.

wow your teachers must be brill

mine are always banging on about how we'd never go through everything in class and so self teaching is key-although they don't really use the words self teach

Have 2 psychology A2 mocks this coming week which I've been revising for, so I've somewhat started summer revision

After this week, I'll probably make a revision timetable.. Aiming for about 5 hours a day on my days off college, and 2 hours in the evening on the days when I'm at college/work.. should be enough to see me through til about May, then I'll pick up the hours. Easier said than done though, lol, get too distracted. Just need to keep thinking about University to keep me motivated...

Planning on allowing 1-2 weeks before June just to keep going over and over past exam papers with A grade answers, probably take away the fear if you've covered tons of possible questions.

My birthday is beginning of June and all, ahhhh
