If you got 71/100% on coursework, and coursework's worth 25%, then you got (71/4) 17.75/25%. This means that you need to get 62.25/75% in the remaining GCSE for the A*, which equates to (1.33*62.25) 83% on the actual exam.

hmm but my paper 1 and 2 are out of 100 combined, as p1= 40 and p2=60
so would your caclutations still stand?

So out of 75 you need to get 62

Which would mean 83%, Aye.

Ergo, if paper will be out of 100 you need to get 83.

Its possibly but you need to work hard for your exams.
I got 92% so thers less pressure for me :biggrin:

but i do edexcel a and on 1 of my 2 cwks i got 74% so i need to improve to get a* ave in cwk.
