Question How can I surprise my Girlfriend?
 
Hey...

I have recently had a prolonged spout of depression (for various reasons) and the person who helped me get through it the most was my Girlfriend.

I am looking for a way to surprise her to say thank you...and wondering if anyone can help.

My budget...well. A student budget is preferable, but i don't mind spending money on her. Don't think I can go too much above £100 though

you don't need money or very little if you really have to. money can only say so much...for the most important things words mean so much more. agree with above with the letter idea, or similar.

Depending on your budget and how long you've been together etc:

Ring her up, tell her she has 10 minutes to get ready, in smart clothes for going out, then you're picking her up.
Pick her up (vital step).
Drive her around a bit to get her confused.
Take her back to your house where there's a 3-course meal/living room picnic/selection of takeaway menus (depending on your cooking ability!)
Have a nice meal and maybe a bottle of wine if you both drink.
Watch her favourite movie (even if you hate it!) and fall asleep together under blankets on the sofa.

What about a nice romantic break somewhere? Doesn't have to be expensive and you can find some pretty good deals on lastminute.com..
