Okay so my understanding of alpha decay is

old particle disintegrates into new particle and an alpha particle is emitted.

So your equation will be

old particle -> new particle + alpha particle

And the sum of the mass numbers on the left hand side must equal the sum of the mass numbers on the right hand side and same with the atomic numbers.

You can find the atomic number of your old element from the periodic table and an alpha particle is just a helium nucleus so again look at the table if you don't know what its mass and atomic numbers are.

So you can find the mass and atomic number of the new element.

Beta decay is much of the same except Beta particles have different mass and atomic numbers to alpha particles.
