To current nursing students and those who have had their medicals...
what does it entail?

I've had mental health issues, and the admissions lady at the university said they would want to talk to my psychiatrist - but that i should still apply as they've had alot of applicants who have got on to the course regardless. Has anyone else been in this situation??

[herbal bug]

all i had was a letter from my GP saying my history and past medication/visits to her for the past 2 years.

went down to occy health and they had a chat with me and made sure i was ok. they declared me fit to study and to return to them in 3 months. it depends from department to department and i dont think theyd put you through a physical exam, just ask your weight and height etc.

urine samples at Occy health medicals unless for military / pilot / train driving are general just for a dipstick to make sure you aren't an undiagnosed diabetic, have knckered kidneys etc

to the OP lay off the weed as the paranoia is obviously beginning to effect your daily living ....

substance misuse within healthcare is a serious issue and may have disciplinary reprecussions
