It was by no means the PRIMARY reason.

However since you have to argue it I will give you some points. :biggrin:

YES - Anti Semitism was always present so yes - good excuse

Effective Propaganda by Nazis and others helped bring the idea more clearly

NO - 1918-1933 Anti semitism wasn't all "that" popular. If you research stats you'll see that It didnt help in the general elections. In fact people blamed the government more (weimar) for their troubles. Its was for this reason that AS became extreme after 1936 which is way beyond the time frame of 1918-1933 lol.

You can outline all the other enemies that people blamed. COMMUNISM oh god they hated that MUCH more than AS. it was when COMMUNISM was crushed that they turned on AS. -This is a very strong point which you should use.
