world ticket?

hey! a couple of people on here and in general have mentioned a 'world ticket' for gap year travelling? what is it? and how much does it cost, is it worth it etc? what are your experiences with it or is anyone planning on using something like this?

various countrys for one price cheapest i could find for 6 countries was 1400, simple google search will help you. Im travelling to Canada, U.s, India, australia.

I know somebody whos going to Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Fiji and LA for four months for £1600. I'm pretty certain you can find cheaper prices that than though! They did it at the Travel Agents, so you'd be able to find it a lot cheaper online. I'd personally like to travel Europe on the trains, much cheaper!
