Britain is a modern country, it doesn't need to follow a specific religion. That would take us back a century or more.

Yeah the British laws are based on Christian teachings but follwing Shari'ah law in a country with about 2 million Muslims is just dumb. Aah. It always amazes me how people that can't think for themselves manage to master the wonders of technology (in this case, the internet).. I am Greek. My whole country are Orthodox Christians and have been for centuries. I have been in the UK for 4 years. I love and embrace it as it is. I do not wish it to become like my home country. If that's what I wished for I'd be on the next plane back home.
Likewise, if I ever found myself living in China I would never want the country to become Christianic. Can you imagine how much that would ruin its individuality?
