I am doing A level maths and further maths and I've got to choose which modules to study, can you help me please?
Here are the modules available - C1, C2, C3, C4, S1, S2, S3, S4, M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, D1, D2, Fp1, Fp2, Fp3 - I am definitely doing the bold written modules, however I need to choose 5 more so can you advise me on which ones to do please?
I am looking for the modules that are similar to pure maths as I enjoy pure maths - and also I am looking for the easiest ones to get an A in, so can you help me please??
Also, is it true that the new d1 book is coming this june?

M1, M2, D1, D2 and choose another 1 of your choice.
Doesn't DE exist?? If DE (differential equations) does exist, do that. Cause its easy.
is differential equations a module? I've learnt a bit about differential equations from pure maths but i doubt that there is a seperate module for DE. I am doing Edexcel, maybe other exam board's do have DE, I think Edexcel doesn't..
S2 if you like S1
D1 is weird.. look at it then you will know whether you like it or not.. otherwise its pretty easy
M1, M2 for sure, if i did full a level (i am dropping further maths at AS) then i will be tempted to do M3 (maybe that just because i am a physicist aswell)
do you think S3 and S4 are good idea? I've heard from a lot of people that after S2 Statistics gets very hard... what do you think people??
Well, S3 and S4 isn't that hard.
They are both just hypothesis tests.
If you found hypothesis tests easy in S2 then you won't have any problem with S3 and S4.
Also there are less chapters than S1 and S2 and the papers are kind of all the same!
and dont be put off by the bitty-ness of s1, s2 is really easy by comparison- only 3 distributions to learn and a way of testing them then you're sorted!
let me ask you a question like this - in comparison with core mathematics, how easy or difficult do you find other modules?? I am doing core mathematics quite well until now and so I want to know whether the other modules that are going to come up are going to be more difficult or easy?
out of the modules you haven't got in bold, im only doing M1 and D1 at the moment, and id say that M1 is probably fairly easy (i find it slightly harder than core, but we've got a rubbish teacher for it...) and D1 is very easy, just reaaaally boring
on the subject of maths modules though, does anyone know if itd be possible to do S2 and S3 at the same time? (trying to sort out my modules for next year, which would mean overall doing C1-4, S1-3, FP1-3, M1 and D1 hopefully)
