This is one hell of a impossible essay ...... So I came here for help

OH pleeeaaase someone
break the question down to structures...
so it asks for qualitative & quantitative
1.choose one for each
2.explain the method
3.try linking it to family topic , e.g. could be about increase in single-parent families.
4.also use a sociologist who used this method to investigate families.
5.Conclusion
i suggest you find a method that a sociologist has done and then look at the method used - then start your essay.
dont know if that made sense or something you were looking for...but yeah, good luck
