Default tight foreskin and sex

Please keep anon.

Well, basically my foreskin is quite tight - in a can't pull it behind the head of my penis when when not aroused at all kind of way. I went to the doctors when I was 16 about it and he suggested pulling it back each day to loosen it up but it didn't change much (only slight change). He said to go back if it became an issue, and it never really was as I wasn't sexually active until recently (which has been 3 years since the doctor visit!)

Basically, having had sex for the first time about a month ago and few times since with the same girl it is... well uncomfortable. It isn't painful, just uncomfortable. Granted, I may not be used to it, but I'm very aware that its my foreskin that is being essentially forced back.

After sex with foreskin is behind the head but stuck there and the head of the penis seems as if it has ballooned up in size about twice as big and looks quite red! I haven't orgasmed during sex which I think is weird for a guy as I always do during masturbation! She is also not that aware that I've came at any time (although I definitely have as I can feel it, minus the usual orgasm)

I'm pretty sure the foreskin is supposed to partially prevent some skin on skin action between the head of the penis and the person you are with? I just feel I'd be more confident and last much longer if my foreskin was doing what it was supposed to do? I know circumcised people have no foreskin and so that their head is exposed more during sex - but their head is also more used to such exposure and so less sensitive to it!

I've booked an appointment with the doctor on monday so I'll see then - but I just want to make sure this sounds abnormal anyway? As I wouldn't know either way as I'm not exactly a seasoned pro at sex.

Erm, this has been without a condom. Haven't had sex with a condom (although its the same girlfriend who had a test before we got together).

yeah it is a problem, the doctor should have told you at your first appointment, but you need to be circumsied mate. mine was exactly the same when i was younger (about 11) they said if i didn't have it done it would become more painfull later in life.

anyway its all good, you don't loose any length and it is less sensitive so you will be able to last longer

Agreed it's a problem and you need to get it sorted one way or another. It sounds like you have a proper case of phimosis.

If your foreskin is so tight it doesn't pull back normally but comes back and gets stuck behind your glans which sort of swells up ( I think thats what your saying) then thats called paraphimosis. In can become a serious problem as the head can get so swollen the foreskin wont go back at all and you need urgent medical attention as the blood supply can become cut off.

There is plenty of stuff on here about phimosis and a wiki thread on it somewhere, so just do a few searches and you will get lots of info.

Its a good idea to try stretching (with some cream from the doctors if you want), and for some guys that works fine. For some guys it doesn't really have any effect. You are then either stuck with managing with it or having a circumcision. Getting circumcised is actually fine - for me it was a big improvement - I only wish I'd had it done as a kid.
