Applying on a Gap Year

How do you apply to university on a Gap year?
Is it still through UCAS? and does anyone know how/where to get references from and all the other things that your college/sixth form used to do etc..

Yes its still through UCAS. I did everything myself, just went into college to get the references and thats it. You need to pay £15 because you're applying by yourself, but you may have had to pay that at college anyway, I cant remember. I found it better applying after you got your results, that way you can apply for one 'safety' uni, two ones you should get in, and then two that want better grades, but that you might just sneak in anyway. As luck would have it I got into one of the better ones.
