Lightbulb Turquoise Food & Drink ?

I decided that for my birthday I'd have the girls round for food and drinks before town (only little snacky things) but I wanted to have a turquoise theme for the food and drink because Im wearing a turquoise dress. I know it sounds a bit crazy but I felt like doing something a bit different and fun! So any ideas on turquoise (or blue-ish) coloured food and drink? Also, are there any turquoise cocktails out there that I could make?

So far I've got:
WKDs (although they are more dark blue-ish)
Cupcakes with turquoise icing
If I can get turquoise marshmellows, I've got a chocolate fountain thing.

blue is app the most off-putting colour for food and so good luck finding enough blue-foods for a party unless you add food colouring to everthing! Just buy a ton of smarties and pick the blue ones out

You can get a few different blue penny sweets...ummmm

I'm struggling with any actual foods...

One reason that plasters for the food industry are blue is because near to no foods are naturally a vivid blue. Blue cocktails are not too difficult - curacao and something greenish should do it. then just whack in food colouring to stuff.

I think blue food colouring would have to be the best option really. Maybe you could just have a couple of blue ideas dotted around foods that are plain colours?!

You can buy just blue smarties.
And i agree- blue jelly, cakes with icing etc.
Blueberries- although they arent really turquoise and a bit random for nibbles at a party!

Blue food?
There's nothin really blue that is actually food.
Like proper food not just vodka jelly
(though that is one option i would definatly use in your situation)

Yup the cakes seem like a good idea.
Maybe just use any foods that have blue in the name

oh and background music should be 'Blue' too

though that is just a joke, Blue are quite an awful band in my opinion :P
