When I push myself to do the work, with the result being a good one.
Is it working hard? Do you still feel like a loser compared to frriends even if your job is good..theres that petty competiton always.

There will always be that competition, but for me, it needn't matter - as long as I know that I've done my best and put in as much work as I can to achieve my place.

beating people at things.
i hate to not come first at something i do with others.
nothing gives me self-respect more than knowing i'm the best at something.
and the things i suck at, i try to avoid.

competition is a great thing.
I know that i am a decent person. I respect people and care for those close to me, i am loyal and true. I also know that my friends respect me and trust me.

My self-respect comes from knowing that I'm a good person, and that I improve the lives of those I care about.
I know that I'm good at what I do, and that I've overcome a lot of terrible things to build my perfect life.
Most of all, it comes from living for myself, and doing what I enjoy. It doesn't come from competition; I never compare myself to others because I've no need to.
Self-Respect?
Hmmm... Nothing much tbh. Being content with myself and helping others, I guess.
Being independant
