Silly Question - Calcium Carbonate

When you make Calcium carbonate and water from Carbon Dioxide and Calcium Hydroxide,

Is the reason behind the limewater going cloudy, because the Calcium Carbonate particles are suspended in the water?

Yeah calcium carbonate isn't really soluble in water, so it precipitates out making it go all cloudy.
