    You usually put the known substance into the burette.

    cheers was thinking that but had a funny 5 minutes!!! using my brain too hard trying to do this damn titration its driving me nuts!

    About halfway done and you can see the time. I've drank more tea than someone who likes tea a lot. In future each thread should start with the actual question we've been set coz that stuff about the CaCO3/MgCO3 threw everyone off

    MgCO3(s) + 2 HCl(aq) -----> MgCl2(aq) + H2O(l) + CO2(g)

    WOW that exam was mega easy!! apart from knocking the crucible over oops wel didnt effect the mass anyways!!! haha!!!!!!!!!! Theres me stressing so much and it was a piece of p*** So how bout every1 else? lol!!!
